Hong Kong patterns I
Residential block in Po Lam, New Territories, Hong Kong.

Cloudy Kowloon
My second attempt to take photos from Lion Rock was again affected by clouds, but what else can I expect in Hong Kong?
At least hiking up there is always fun. Still, I hope you’d like it.

Creatividad Urbana
In Santiago, Chile.

Juriques and Licancabur
A view from Sairecabur volcano on Chilean and Bolivian border (approx. 5960m altitude) on Licancabur and Juriques volcanoes. I have to admit that the climb was quite demanding because of fresh snow on the northern (Chilean) side of Sairecabur that I climbed. But it was absolutely worth the effort.

Stuy Town
Stuyvesant Town, Peter Cooper Village and Con Edison seen from the Empire State Building.

A morning at Laguna Colorada
A morning at Laguna Colorada, in Andean altiplano in Bolivia.

Volcan Ollagüe
Volcan Ollagüe seen from the Bolivian side. That’s a proper volcanic landscape I love. You can even spot fumarole being emitted on the left side of the volcano.

Cementerio de Trenes
Train cemetery in Uyuni, Bolivia.

Valle de la Luna
In my opinion, this is the craziest morphology in the entire Valle de la Luna, Chile. I find it bit overwhelming, overcrowded with contrasting geological forms – but it makes that place so special.

Licancabur seen from Valle de la Luna
Licancabur volcano seen across Salar de Atacama from Valle de la Luna, Chile. The relative elevation of the slope leading to pass between Licancabur & Juriques and Cerro Toco is over 2000m, and the distance to Licancabur from the place I took the shot is roughly 35-40km. That place is simply huge.

Lanzarote vineyards I

Vineyards on Lanzarote are located on post-volcanic terrains and a special (and simple) infrastructure is used to increase humidity on the ground. The next shot in my stream presents a different type of structure.

Go Cubs Go

I’m not into baseball at all, but I arrived in Chicago on the day of the Cubs 2016 World Series parade, and the celebrations of their first title in 108 years were simply everywhere. Here, one of the iconic lions in front of the Art Institute of Chicago, is spotted sporting a Cubs cap.
