the (bad)luck of the irish….(HFF) by BillsExplorations:This badly decaying, but still graceful, old barn was built by Irish immigrants in 1876.With pride, they put in letters on its front face a message that means a “hundred thousand welcomes”.Well it seems that future generations have not shared that same feeling as this beauty has been let to rot away, its great cupola crashed through the rotting roof just recently.Sheep still crowd the lot next to the barn, but they are housed in a non-descript white metal shed just out of frame to the left.

I guess history,and luck,has a price….
